What To do In Osaka, Japan

If you love amusement parks or have kids that do, you should definitely visit Osaka’s Universal Studios Japan (USJ). The combination of Universal Studios magic and Japanese efficiency makes it one of the most enjoyable amusement parks anywhere. But it’s busy all year round, so you really have to plan carefully and buy tickets and Express Passes in advance to make the most of a visit.

Osaka Aquarium is one of the city’s premier attractions, and one of the best aquariums in the world. It does come with a slightly expensive price tag, but it’s worth it. Just be prepared for the crowds. The Osaka Bay area is home to some great attractions, and one of the best reasons to make the trek out is the Osaka Aquarium. Known as Kaiyukan in Japanese, it’s one of the best aquariums in the world. With 15 tanks housing an astonishing variety of ocean life from the Pacific Rim, it is a fantastic day out for adults and children.

Short story of mine

Since I was 12 years old, I have dreamed to go to Japan or  to be specific, Osaka. When I get into my high school which is Smk Sultanah Asma, I was given a chance to learn Japanese language. From there, my interest has grown deeper into Japanese culture, the people, the places in Japan and the language.

Before you go to Osaka, better watch this video first and learn from it. Hope everyone enjoy the blog just like how enjoyed I am while doing the blog. :)

History of Osaka

Osaka is the Japan's second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. Osaka was formerly known as Naniwa. Before the Nara period, when the capital used to be moved with the reign of each new emperor, Naniwa was once Japan's capital city, the first one ever known. In the 16th century, Toyotomi Hideyoshi chose Osaka as the location for his castle, and the city may have become Japan's political capital if Tokugawa Ieyasu had not terminated the Toyotomi lineage after Hideyoshi's death and moved his government to distant Edo (Tokyo).
